Privacy Policy & Data Processing Information

This Privacy Policy describes how Cheat Network ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information in connection with the website cheatnetwork.eu. This policy is designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Polish Act on the Protection of Personal Data.

1. Data Controller Identity

The Data Controller responsible for your personal data is Cheat Network, located at Poland. For all data-related inquiries, please contact our privacy team at [email protected]. Note: We have not officially appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under Art. 37 GDPR; all requests are handled directly by the Controller.

2. Categories of Data & Legal Basis for Processing

In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, we process data based on the following:

3. Browser Fingerprinting & Cookies

Technical Necessity: We utilize hardware identifiers and browser fingerprinting exclusively for Security and Fraud Prevention (detecting automated bot attacks and unauthorized account sharing). Under the ePrivacy Directive, these are strictly necessary for the security of the service requested by the user and do not require prior consent, but are subject to your Right to Object.

4. Data Recipients & International Transfers

To provide our service, we share limited data with the following recipients:

Discord Inc. (USA): For OAuth authentication (Standard Contractual Clauses apply).
Stripe: For encrypted payment processing. We do not store credit card numbers.
Cloudflare: For secure hosting and DDoS protection within the EU.

5. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU) & CCPA (USA)

As a user, you have the following rights which we will honor without undue delay (max 30 days):

Right of Access & Portability: Request a copy of your stored data.
Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Permanent deletion of your account logs.
Right to Rectification: Correction of inaccurate profile data.
Right to Object: You may object to our "Legitimate Interest" processing (fingerprinting). Note: Objecting to security logs may result in account termination for safety reasons.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You may contact the Polish President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) at uodo.gov.pl.

6. Children's Privacy

Cheat Network is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover such data, it is deleted immediately. Users under 16 in the EU require parental guidance.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours in accordance with Art. 33 GDPR.
